Oracle Retail Upgrade
Hypermarket · Philippines · RMS, RPM, Allocations, ReSA, ReIM, RIB, SIM & RWMS
The Challenge
The client was operating on an aging Oracle Retail v13 landscape hosted on AWS, creating increasing concerns around platform stability, supportability, and long-term scalability. As business needs evolved, the legacy environment limited the organization’s ability to adopt modern retail capabilities, streamline integrations, and maintain operational resilience across core merchandising and store systems.
Our Approach
RTP executed a structured end-to-end modernization program, migrating the client’s Oracle Retail platform from v13 on AWS to v19 on OCI. The program covered key retail modules including RMS, RPM, ReSA, ReIM, Allocations, RIB, SIM, and WMS, while preserving critical integrations with ORPOS 13, RPAS v16, and NetSuite. A phased delivery model, robust migration governance, and comprehensive testing strategy were applied to minimize business risk, protect data integrity, and ensure operational readiness throughout the transition.
The Solution
Delivered a seamless upgrade and cloud platform transition across the client’s core Oracle Retail ecosystem, enabling a more stable, supportable, and future-ready operating environment. The transformation strengthened system performance, improved maintainability, and established a scalable foundation for ongoing business growth, while ensuring continuity of day-to-day retail operations during cutover and post-go-live stabilization.

The Challenge
The client’s legacy JDA MMS landscape had become increasingly complex to maintain and scale, creating operational inefficiencies across merchandising, inventory, and financial reconciliation processes. Limited real-time visibility, fragmented data flows, and high dependency on manual intervention impacted business agility and increased the effort required to support merchandising operations at scale.
Our Approach
RTP executed a structured Oracle Retail SaaS transformation program to migrate the client’s merchandising capabilities from JDA MMS to Oracle Retail SaaS v25, covering MFCS, PCS, IMCS and SACS. The program ensured seamless continuity across key enterprise touchpoints and strong alignment to Oracle recommended standards.
The Solution
Delivered a modern, cloud-based Oracle Retail SaaS solution that replaced the legacy JDA MMS platform with an integrated merchandising and finance ecosystem, improving efficiency, scalability, and operational control.

Move to SaaS
Upmarket Department Store Chain · US · IMCS
The Challenge
The client’s legacy Oracle Retail ReIM v14 landscape had become heavily customized over time, significantly limiting upgradeability and increasing solution complexity. The high level of be-spoke functionality made the platform difficult to support, costly to maintain, and increasingly misaligned with Oracle’s product roadmap. At the same time, invoice-to-receipt reconciliation had become operationally challenging, with complex exception handling, inconsistent matching scenarios, and heavy manual intervention affecting processing accuracy and cycle times. These inefficiencies created downstream financial exposure through delayed settlements, unresolved discrepancies, and increased risk of revenue leakage and financial loss.
Our Approach
RTP adopted a fit-to-standard Oracle Retail SaaS implementation approach to migrate the client from ReIM v14 to IMCS v26. A key design principle of the transformation was to absorb as much legacy customization as possible into Oracle IMCS base processes by aligning business workflows to leading-practice SaaS functionality. This significantly reduced complexity within the core application and improved long-term upgrade readiness. Only a minimal set of business-essential extensions was retained, and these were strategically moved outside the core SaaS footprint into lightweight, supportable components using RDS and Oracle APEX.
The Solution
Delivered a modernized Oracle Retail IMCS v26 solution that replaced the highly customized legacy ReIM v14 environment with a more standardized, scalable, and upgrade-ready SaaS platform. The target-state solution significantly reduced dependency on custom logic within the core invoice matching application while preserving necessary business differentiation through limited extensions built on RDS and Oracle APEX. By aligning the operating model more closely to Oracle Retail SaaS industry standards, the client gained a more supportable and resilient solution that improved reconciliation accuracy, reduced manual effort, and positioned the organization for smoother future upgrades and ongoing cloud innovation.

New Geography Rollout
Wholesale Store Chain · Philippines · RMS, RPM, ReSA, ReIM, SIM, BI Publisher
The Challenge
The client is expanding their operation in new country using its existing Oracle Retail platform. The key challenge is delivering Day 1 must-have functionalities within tight timelines while adapting to new country-specific regulations and business processes. Current Oracle Retail system is over 10 years old and highly customized, making it difficult to identify and localize existing customizations. Managing multi-country operations within a single instance while ensuring stability adds further complexity.
Our Approach
A structured and phased approach is adopted, leveraging the existing Oracle Retail (RMS) setup from the existing country as the baseline. The system is extended to support new country localization, tax, legal, and language requirements. Focus is placed on delivering Day 1 must-have functionalities, with close collaboration between business and finance teams for validation. A phased rollout ensures minimal risk and smooth adoption.
The Solution
The solution extends the existing Oracle Retail platform to support new country operations with maximum reuse and minimal disruption. It includes configuration of RMS foundation data and enables users to operate using established business processes. End-to-end alignment of procurement, inventory, invoice processing, and sales is ensured. Seamless integration with POS and finance systems supports a smooth and consistent transaction flow.
